Return Policy
At Integrated Optics, UAB (“Integrated Optics”, “we”, “us”), we stand behind the quality of our laser products and accessories. This Return policy explains how to submit a return request, how warranty claims are handled, and what conditions apply. It is designed to align with industry standards. This policy complements our Warranty Terms and Quality Policy.
1.
Non-Defective Returns vs. Warranty (Defective / Workmanship Issues).
1.1.
Items failing due to a manufacturing defect are handled under our standard warranty terms specified in our Warranty Statement (for many products: 14 months or 10,000 operational hours, unless otherwise stated). Our preferred resolution method is repair at manufacturers' site.
1.2.
Non-Defective Returns
Returns for non-defective items are subject to the conditions below:

Must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.
1.2.2.
Items must be unopened, unused, undamaged, and returned in their original manufacturer packaging with all accessories, manuals, and any test reports.

A 20% restocking fee applies to accepted non-defective returns.
2.
Refund Method & Timing.
2.1.
When returning a product, the customer must provide complete and accurate refund details to ensure proper processing. The following information is required:

Bank account number to which the refund will be issued.
2.1.2.
Account holder’s name.
2.1.3.
Account holder’s address.
Refunds may be delayed if any of the above information is missing or incomplete.
2.2.
Items will be inspected in 10 business days after being received.
2.3.
Once the item is received and inspected, refunds are processed on average in 20 business days.
2.4.
If inspection finds that the product is opened, used, or not in its original condition, we may deny the return or offer a reduced refund.
3.
Non-Returnable Items.
3.1.
The following items cannot be returned (except where required by law):

Custom builds
3.1.2.
OEM lasers (non-standard, custom-labeled, or designed for OEM integration)
3.1.3.
Items explicitly marked “non-returnable” at checkout
3.1.4.
Opened safety equipment (e.g., laser goggles)

Consumables
3.1.6.
Products not returned in original protective packaging

4.
Packaging & Shipping Requirements for all returns.
4.1.
Items must be shipped in the original manufacturer packaging, or packaging providing equal protection.
4.2.
Products must be shipped using a trackable and insured carrier, with insurance for the full shipment value recommended.
4.3.
Serial numbers, labels, and seals must remain intact.
4.4.
Damage caused by inadequate packaging may lead denial of refund.
4.5.
For international shipments (non-EU), clearly mark items as “Returned Goods, no commercial value” and include return/invoice documentation to assist customs processing.
5.
Proof of Purchase & Inspection.
5.1.
A confirmation for return from support team is mandatory for all returns.
5.2.
After receiving the returned item, we will inspect it to determine eligibility for refund.
5.3.
If an item is deemed non-defective and outside policy, or fails inspection criteria, the customer will be notified. The item may be returned to the customer at their expense.
6.
International (non-EU) Returns & Customs.
6.1.
International customers are responsible for all return shipping, customs duties, taxes, and import/export documentation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6.2.
Customers must ensure compliance with local export and re-import regulations for laser equipment. Some jurisdictions may restrict import or transit of lasers - customers should check applicable rules before initiating a return.
6.3.
Where applicable, customers should work with their carrier or broker to minimize customs fees; marking as “Returned Goods, no commercial value” can reduce reassessment in many jurisdictions (but not always).
7.
International (non-EU) Returns & Customs.
7.1.
Integrated Optics is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use or return shipments, except where prohibited by law.
7.2.
Refunds are limited to the purchase price of the returned merchandise, less applicable fees and shipping. Other damages, lost profits, or consequential losses are excluded.
7.3.
These terms are governed by applicable laws; include jurisdiction/governing law per company preference if desired.
