Continuous wave 488 nm (cyan) laser is widely used in fluorescence microscopy. Such wavelength activates a number of different dyes, such as Alexa 488, eGFP, SYTO-13 DNA, Chromeo, just to name a few. Single-unit package is convenient both for end-user as well as for OEM applications. These lasers sources are available in 20 mW SLM and in 40 mW non-SLM options.
