Historically, several standards have been established for the form factor of CW lasers. These were initially set by appearance of Coherent's OBIS and
CUBE series. Many manufacturers followed them and now offer the same mounting points and beam position. Integrated Optics went further to introduce a new form factor of next generation lasers. But in order to meet the need for replacement of previously
installed lasers, we have recently introduced an adapter plate in order to replace OBIS or CUBE form factor lasers with our Matchbox 2 laser effortlessly. Smooth transition is guaranteed as the laser will have same beam height and the same mounting holes
positions as many other CW lasers on the market.
